The Universe is an open universe and it is ever expanding. Universe is everything.
We have 10,000 billion galaxies in our Universe.
We belong to a galaxy called Milky Way.
Milky Way has 10,000 million stars.
Sun is one of the stars. Sun and its planets together constitute solar system.
Sun has eight Planets. (Recently Pluto is removed from planet status).
Earth is one of the planets.


Universe is formed out of a sudden explosion; this is explained in Bing bang theory.
A prototype of big bang theory experiment is done is Switzerland in 2008. Only 5% of the experiment is successful.
